chicken karahi

ingredients
  1. 1 whole chicken cut into pieces
  2.  chopped tomatoes
  3.  diced onions
  4.  ginger paste
  5.  garlic paste
  6.  sliced green chillies
  7.  fresh coriander chopped
  8.  ground cumin seeds (زيرہ)
  9.  red chilli powder
  10.  salt
  11. love
 

directions
  • heat oil in medium sized pot.
  • saute garlic.
  • add tomatoes and cook until they melt a little.
  • add ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli powder and cumin powder.
  • when chicken is almost cooked, add diced onions.
  • cook on high heat until oil separates somewhat (بھون).
  • when onions melt, turn stove to low and cover the pot for five minutes.
  • garnish with green chillies, julienned ginger and freshly chopped coriander.
  • serve hot with white rice or bread (نان).
